The Institute for Computational Science (ICS) at the University of Zurich invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the group of Prof. Dr. Julian Adamek. The appointment is for a fixed term from 1 December 2023 (or as soon as possible thereafter) until 31 August 2025.

Your responsibilities

You will work with the research group of Prof. Adamek on the development of relativistic N-body simulations for cosmologies with non-vanishing curvature.

Your profile

You should hold a PhD degree in physics and your academic record should clearly indicate a promising future in research. Furthermore, you should bring relevant expertise in the areas of cosmological N-body simulations and cosmological solutions of general relativity. Prior experience with high performance computing would also be an asset.
